Officials said results had yet to be tabulated, but did say it was wonderful to welcome a return to the water with pleasant conditions over the weekend.
Members have also been keeping up appearances with a team of the Wallagoot sailors heading to the Jervis Bay Regatta.
Merimbula sailor Rod Anderson was the multi-hull division winner, while Pambula's Rob Morton was the sole visitor to complete all six races and finished just outside the top five in his division.
Club secretary Tony Hastings launched his new boat, which he said wasn't quite race-ready yet, but still mustered a top five finish in the multi-hull division.
This Saturday is the first Pointscore Races of the season. The club will also host free sailing lessons, with anyone interested urged to contact the club. For more information visit www.wlbc.org.au
