Organiser Susie Pfeiffer is opening up her Mirador front yard to the community on October 12, with a host of activities and entertainment for all ages.
There will be a children's play area and face painting, free hot food and afternoon tea treats (with a pink theme of course), raffles, silent auctions and lucky door prizes, and a huge pink shop full of donations from individuals and businesses across the Bega Valley. Ms Pfeiffer said she has had more than $15,000 worth of support, for which she is incredibly grateful.
We have it on good authority that one of the auction items is a 2-metre tall pink and white inflatable unicorn!
All money raised will be donated to the McGrath Foundation with the hope to get a second Breast Care Nurse for the Bega Valley.
"Bega Valley Goes Pink" is happening at 1 Camilla Court, Tura, from 12-4pm on October 12. The event is open to all ages with free entry. No alcohol permitted
