About 3000 people packed the Bega Recreation ground for the four senior clashes to decide the premierships.
Ladies league-tag play opened the account with the Bombala High Heelers taking home the silverware after defeating the Bega Chicks 10-6.
A try in the final 40 seconds sealed the win with many expecting it to go for extra time with the scores locked at 6-6 throughout the second half.
Woman of the Match: Bombala fullback Patrice Clear.
Under 18s were the next cab off the ranks and the Bega Roosters did an admirable job of containing the speedy and agile Narooma Devils to secure a 28-18 win.
Jordan Gray-Balcolmb had been dominant with a pair of tries for Bega in the first half, while Bega captain Alexander Eadie scored a double in the second half off the back of good offloads from Darnell Andy.
Man of the Match: Bega forward Darnell Andy, who dedicated the win to his Dad in a touching tribute.
The reserve grade showdown between the Snowy River Bears and Bega Roosters ended poorly, but had been played as a tough physical contest.
Just one point separated the teams at the end before play broke down completely with the Bears completing a miracle finish winning by a field goal 23-22.
Man of the Match: Bears half Liam Rankin
First grade provided an epic showdown and a long overdue first grade derby between the Tathra Sea Eagles and Bega Roosters.
Bega had fought back from a Tathra first-half lead and scores were all locked up heading into the final minutes of play.
However, Hayden Parbery set up two incredible scoots out of dummy half for clever offloads that set up two tries for Tathra that would ultimately seal the result 24-18.
Man of the Match: Tathra hooker Hayden Parbery
The win capped off a stellar year for the Sea Eagles, ending a 66-year premiership drought, while the coastal club had earlier been named the CRL Club of the Year and was also presented in a surprise ceremony the NRL's Grassroots Club of the Year.
Officials said they were thrilled with the day, which - apart from the finish to reserve grade - had been some of the cleanest and best contested finals footy in years.
