Organiser Shirley Bazley said she was very happy with the first weekend.
"There was a feeling of community involvement and ownership with longtime locals visiting the museum for the first time," Ms Bazley said.
"We had people who had lived here for 30 or 40 years and this was the first time they had set foot inside the museum," Ms Bazley said.
Last weekend traditional crafts were on show but this weekend it's the turn of cookery and historic machinery.
On Saturday, August 24 from 10am -2pm, the Bega and District Historical Machinery Club will have working machinery on show in the museum grounds and there will be Asian cooking demonstrations by local expert Liz Bretherton who used to run food tours to Singapore.
Liz will be cooking up San Choy Bau at about 11.30am and a trio of Indian vegetarian dishes at about 1.30pm. Most importantly there will be free tasters available.
There will be coffee, homemade cakes and Bianchini Gelati's ices made from local fruit plus music from the Bega Brass Band.
