There was an explosion of colour at Pambula Public School library this morning as pupils went all out to turn themselves into their favourite book characters.

This year a popular theme seemed to be ghost pirates, although we did spot a couple of unicorns called Thelma and Harry Potter characters lining up to buy their books off Ms Tarpey brightly dressed as Elmer the Elephant.
According to school principal Leah Martin the book fair is a major highlight of the school calendar and that was certainly reflected in the efforts many of the pupils had gone to for the day's activities.
