With juniors having a week off the governing body is converging senior matches on the Eden Cricket Ground for two games of reserves and two senior clashes.
"The main driver behind it is to bring those senior clubs together and provide a full day of footy for fans," SCAFL coordinator Mitch Wallis said.
The mega draw will also coincide with the official unveiling of Eden's new grand stands with the club excited to welcome local and visiting footy fans on the day.
The two under-cover stands will be named for two Whalers club legends.
The Whalers will also be putting on the popular AFL speccy machine for the kids as well as slushy frozen drinks stand and a full canteen in a family-friendly day of competition.
"We're making it as family friendly as possible and we're looking at a half-time Auskick session in the main game to showcase a bit of the junior footy as best we can," Mr Wallis said.
In the senior games, the Whalers will host the Narooma Lions, while the Pambula Panthers face the Merimbula Diggers in a top-of-the-table derby for ladder position.
"As the season has gone on we're seeing a lot of the clubs being able to catch up to Merimbula in a sense so it's a very tight draw.
"And to have the first v second match up will just work perfectly," Mr Wallis said.
The Eden club will be hungry for their first win of the season in front of a home crowd, while the Panthers will be forced to work hard through the middle and half-forward line to counter Merimbula's shot-callers.
"I think it's going to be a battle of the midfield," Mr Wallis said. "Coach Josh Wheeler has been stringing together some really good football lately so he'll be a big influence in the game."
However, Mr Wallis conceded that Merimbula were very clever in where they match players up, so the Panthers would have to match in order to nullify those options.
While the Whalers are unfortunately still chasing a win, Mr Wallis said the top four could all contest the premiership and there were no true favourites moving forward.
"Merimbula are still the team to beat, but anyone can win it on the day so that's a real highlight heading towards finals.
"It's really exciting that there isn't a team going in as the hot favourites to take it out like recent years."
Matches will run from 10am with the Sea Eagles to take on the Giants in reserves.
A second ressies game will see Pambula take on Merimbula at 11.20am.
At 12.45pm the Whalers seniors host the Narooma Lions before the Panthers and Diggers do battle at 2.30pm.
