We popped along to see how things were shaping up in the final weeks of rehearsal.
Since landing the part of Sandy, year 11 student Julie Cullenward said she's discovered more sides to the popular Grease character than she thought possible.
"She is a little bit different to the film version - because it's condensed there isn't a long amount of time to introduce the characters " said Julie
"I was surprised to find her a little bit bratty earlier on in the show. She throws a few tantrums."
Julie is just one of the actors in a cast and crew of over 100 students who are working hard to bring the nosatlgic musical to the stage later in July.
Drama teacher Emma Hibbert said, "Whilst our actors are rehearsing, a huge number of students are working hard behind the scenes. Construction staff and students have finished building the sets and set paintings are well underway."
"We are hoping the audience sings along and really enjoys all the work that has gone into making this show spectacular.
