The two sets of fraternal twins both qualified for the state cross country in their respective age groups recently.
Proud dad Aaron Whitby thinks it could be a record to see two sets of twins qualifying simultaneously with the boys running in the under 13s age group, while the girls have just turned nine.
"We think it's the first time this has ever happened," Mr Whitby said, adding that he was incredibly proud of his kids.
He said they were all incredibly active in more than just running with junior Aussie rules, basketball, Nippers and athletics.
He said all four kids making the grade was a reward for the whole family.
"I love seeing them compete at those high levels because I know they can do it, they're brilliant," he beamed.
"You put a lot of kilometres on the car getting to events and it's a great reward to see their efforts recognised."
The boys have been running since they could stand up, contesting 10km events since the age of seven, and Mr Whitby said Ava and Macey were always cheering on their brothers and also became drawn to competitions where they have since followed suit.
At zone events in Canberra the four kids all earned a place after strong displays in the Lumen carnival and the girls at Wolumla as well.
In Canberra Macey finished fifth, with Ava in sixth to qualify, while the boys claimed second and third in their age group.
"They're just drawn to sport and they all love to compete," Mr Whitby said.
"For me it was just an amazing effort from the four of them to string those results together - they all support each other extremely well."
Sadly, the twins did not get to compete the state event this year, but there are other events on the calendar to keep the kids busy.
"It was really unfortunate to miss the event, but next on the calendar is the school athletics," Mr Whitby said.
The girls were training their long jump over the weekend, while the four are pretty gifted sprinters. The boys were on field for the Pambula Panthers where they play in the under 14s.
Mr Whitby is a former tennis coach, but said he was just delighted to see the kids being active and wanted to support them in any sport they choose with all four showing equal ability.
"You never know, it depends on the day, but they always swap wins back and forth," he says with a laugh.
"The boys used to rev each other up, but now they're very supportive of each other and don't really mind who wins."
