In what can only be described as miserable conditions with icy cold winds gusting across the Pambula Sporting Complex, the home team ran away with the game 12-12-84 to 2-7-19.
Dean Gartside was the sole goal-kicker for the visitors, scoring two off the boot, but Liam Walker-Eastick and Louis Coulton were among the strongest performers for Tathra.
The Panthers stunned their opponents in the opening quarter where they kept the Sea Eagles scoreless, while stacking 22 points themselves.
Fin Cooke was the best for the Panthers, feeding the ball forward where Jono Di-Donato bagged three goals, while Mitch Wallis and Sean Smith both slotted a pair.
Both of Tathra's goals came in the second quarter, but the Panthers still outstripped their rivals three-to-two. The worst came in the fourth quarter where the home side bagged an unanswered five goals.
