What started out as a project to fill in time while their main bands were on a break has turned into one of the most acclaimed Australian country albums of the year.
Eckersley and McClymont released their debut album in February 2018 with the self-produced, 10-track set reaching number one on the ARIA Country album chart and featuring hit singles Train Wreck and So Smooth.
The much-loved duo are now releasing third single, Nothing Left To Win and extending their Highway Sky Tour through the first half of 2019.
The single and tour dates announcement follows a hugely successful Tamworth Country Music Festival for the pair who were nominated for four Golden Guitar Awards. They were also nominated for Best Country Album at the 2018 ARIA Awards, capping off what has been a fantastic project for the duo.
"Nothing Left to Win is a song I'm really proud of," said Eckersley.
"It's a good old cheating song which is based on a true story and it's pretty raw. Hopefully it will strike a chord with anyone that has been in that situation."
"This album has been so much fun for both of us and we'll definitely do another one in the future but who knows when. For now, we're really excited to get our duo show back on the road this year and then get back into The McClymonts and Adam Eckersley Band projects after that."
