As the sun rose on Easter Sunday morning over 80 people gathered at Short Point, Merimbula to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

In a display of unity the combined churches of Pambula and Merimbula conducted a worship service with singing, bible readings and a message of hope.
Pastor Jeremy Fernando said in his short address that "just as the sun has risen today, so has the Spirit of God risen in us because of the victory that Jesus won for us".
Anyone wanting to know more about life and faith is invited to join the combined churches for an Alpha dinner on Thursday, May 9 from 6pm at St Clements Anglican church in Merimbula.
