The Sapphire Snappers presented awards for their summer photography competition at a special function at Wheelers Seafood Restaurant last week, with Liz Bellete-Stubbs (@lizbsphotography) named the best image winner.
All images were judged anonymously so it was the photo not the photographer who made their claim to the prizes.
Judges said of Liz's golden water shot "Staying to the last minute" that they loved "the way the golden light reflects and highlights the surfer with well thought out composition".
"The surfer leaving the frame tells us this is taken at the end of a long summers day. 'Staying to the last minute' - that alone says everything about the Sapphire Coast, staying out and enjoying every last minute of the day."

Liz won a $200 voucher from Wheelers as well as a goodies pack donated by the Snappers group admins.
A youngster enjoying the beach taken by Tracey Harris (@harristracey10) was awarded the prestigious "Snapper Prize".
The image was chosen by Phill Small Photography as the recipient of a three-hour private photography workshop
Phill said the image "emotionally drew him in".
"The photo is well composed, has great use of light with soft depth of field to soften the background with delightful reflections in the foreground. It shows the essence of what summer is about on the Sapphire Coast."
Sapphire Snappers organisers said the quality of images entered into the annual summer photo competition this year was outstanding.
As a result they also presented 10 images with highly commended awards.
In no particular order, recipients included @luluandmolly, @harris1737, @lisa___vdh, @andrew_buesnel, @salty.j.images, @photosbydaniellelynn, @harristracey10, and @lizbsphotography.
