Saturday golf at Tura Beach was cancelled due to the torrential rain that hit the region. Tuesday saw a Par event in ideal conditions. The highlight of the day was club stalwart Alan Brown managing a hole-in-one on the ninth. He not only won a trophy for his effort but also walked away with the Golden Shot money and a much needed Arcuthe Barbers haircut voucher.

The golfing honours went to Tony Gamble in B Grade who carded a plus 6, two strokes clear of fellow B Grader Graham Brown with plus 4. Both were well clear of the next best competitors in the field who carded plus 1's. They were A graders Rob Staite, Joe Fitzpatrick and Richard Firth, Richard visiting from the Forster Golf Club, and B Grader Mike Warren. C Grade was headed by Dale McDonald with square, Norm Hamilton with minus 1 and visitor from Cronulla Golf Club Dave Marler also with minus 1.
Nearest the Pins went to R Bottom on hole 3, R Firth on 5, K O'Meara on 13 and S Barclay on 17.
