Spectrum received nominations for Robyn Whitby, Best Costumes for a School of Youth Production, Aladdin Jr, John Fraser, Best Original Work, ‘Hands Up Who’s Not Here’ and Di Johnson, Best Actress in a Featured Role in a Play for Gloria Clements in ‘Hands Up Who’s Not Here’.

The group did not win any of their categories but took heart from the fact they were up against some very serious competition.

There was however one winner with a local connection, costume designer Anna Senior. A long-term resident of the Bega Valley and closely involved with the Spiral Gallery Ms Senior took out the award for Best Costumes for a Play with her costumes for Arms and the Man performed by Canberra Repertory Company. Ms Senior now lives in Canberra.
