World Day of Prayer at Pambula

The annual World Day of Prayer will take place on Friday, March 1 at Pambula's Christ Church, part of the Sapphire Coast Anglican Parish starting at 11am.

The leader of the service will be Ursula Viebcke who said that eight churches would be taking part in the event and that students from Lumen Christi Catholic College would present a play. There will be a morning tea for everyone afterwards.

Co-ordinated services of Christian worship and prayer are held across the world in over 170 countries, directed by the international body – the World Day of Prayer International. The program is prepared by women from one focus country of the world and in 2019 the host country is Slovenia. World Day of Prayer is a worldwide ecumenical movement of women of many faith traditions who come together to observe a common day of prayer each year.
