Merimbula Water Dragons attended the biennial Jindabyne Flowing Festival on February 16, 17 and enjoyed a weekend of paddling starting with the 2km races on Saturday evening. The team combined with Moruya's Nature Coast Dragon Boat Club and a paddler from Sudu Dragon Boat Club, Wollongong. With around 60 paddlers in total the combined teams managed to enter two teams into many of the categories. In the 2km races the team achieved a 3rd place for the mixed team and a 3rd place for the women's team. The women's masters team were delighted to get a 2nd place in the 200m racing against some very strong competition from Canberra and the regions.
