The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs said Elliott had been an enormous contributor in the 2018 season and congratulated the forward on his selection for the AAMI Park showdown on February 15.
Elliott did not miss a beat, or a single game, in the 2018 season, one of only three players who fronted up for every game.
Officials said he had added impact to the forward roster, playing 17 games in the number 13 jumper.
The hard-running forward from Tathra played his 50th NRL game for the club last season and scored four tries. The 24-year old made 583 tackles, averaged 77.8 running metres and 44 minutes per game from his 24 appearances in 2018. A player who wears his heart on his sleeve.
Tyrone Roberts and Nowra’s Cody Walker were named in the backline along with Cowboys’ Ben Barba, Eel’ Blake Ferguson, Roosters’ Latrell Mitchell, Broncos’ James Roberts and Storm’s Josh Addo-Carr.
Rounding out the starting side in the 20-man squad are forwards Nathan Peats, Tyrone Peachey and Ryan James (all Titans), Andrew Fifita (Sharks), David Fifita (Broncos) – with Will Chambers (Storm), Leilani Latu (Titans), Chris Smith (Bulldogs), Alex Johnston (Rabbitohs), Jesse Ramien (Knights), Tyrell Fuimaono (Panthers) and Kotoni Staggs (Broncos) named on an extended bench for the Indigenous All Stars.
The All Stars concept has been revamped after a one-year break following the Rugby League World Cup.
The Maori team replaces the World All Stars, giving the event a fresh flavour in a new location.
South Sydney centre Dane Gagai was eligible for both teams and chose the Maori
