The Knights were all-out for just 97 runs on Saturday as the Tathra bowling attack kept the hosts quiet at the crease, while regular wickets also kept the Knights from ever getting comfortable in a partnership.
With regular openers Matt Lawson and Brendan Daley out, the Sea Eagles made quick work of stand ins Patrick Whittard and Charles Aggenbach.
Nick Fantham knocked 12 before a series of cheap wickets fell over.
Dylan Lawson and Zac Wells salvaged some runs with a modest tail end partnership, knocking 21 and 14 respectively.
Adam Blacka and Jayden Heyhorn were the best with the ball, both collecting three wickets each.
Pete Bennett and Chris Dwyer opened well, scoring 52 and 23 respectively, while Ben O’Reilly added 22 not out for the team to finish 2/103 after just 14 overs.
The Knights play in Mallacoota from 1pm on Saturday.
