Sing along with us – that is the invitation for audiences on Sunday, December 9 when the Sapphire Coast Concert Band and Spirit Allegro Chamber Choir join forces for a Christmas Concert at Club Sapphire, Merimbula.

The program for the concert will be a mix of seasonal music for band and choir and there will also be opportunity for the audience join in with some favourite carols.
Pieces from the concert band will include A Fireside Christmas, a medley of favourite Christmas tunes arranged by Sammy Nestico and Panis Angelicus by Cesar Frank featuring Paul Dion who will sing the vocal solo.
Pieces from the choir will include some traditional carols and a mix of more recent Christmas songs to mark the special, festive season.
To close the concert, the band and choir will combine for renditions of Homeward Bound by Marta Keen and A Holiday Sing Along, a medley of carols arranged by John Moss.
It promises to be a delightful afternoon with a chance to enjoy Christmas carols and also to sing along too.

Spirit Allegro is a chamber choir based on the Far South Coast founded in 2015 by Dr Wayne "Sandy" Glass who directed the group until June 2017.
Since then David Francis has been the choir’s director.
