Two weeks into FOGO, around 200 tonnes of organic waste has been diverted away from landfill. “Contamination has been negligible and it’s as good as I could’ve hoped,” council FOGO coordinator Joley Vidau said. The biggest concern continues to be families using nappies worried about the new fortnightly collection.
