William Seach was crowned the Best and Fairest of the under 14s grade, besting runner-up Campbell Moresi in a tight vote count during the final rounds of the season.
It makes the second-straight accolade for the young Panther after being named the number one player in the under 12s grade last season.
William’s award was something of a rarity as the northern clubs, the Narooma Lions and Bermagui Breakers, clinched a lion’s share of the top honours during the presentation this year.
The Lions secured the Club Championship and was home to the senior best and fairest, while the Breakers homed the women’s best winner Jorja Moore, Rocco Lagana the winner of the 16s title and Lachlan Moresi heading up the under 12s this year.
It’s a fitting reward for William, who friends and family said was an avid footballer and a lover of the game.
William also bagged five goals as the Panthers dominated Merimbula in the preliminary final with the Pambula club now going to Saturday’s grand final.
The Pambula roster will take on the Bermagui Breakers for the premiership with play in Narooma.
