Candelo Kameruka Bowling Club, which calls itself the little club with the big welcome, will host a family fun afternoon this Saturday.
Arvy on The Green will feature some of the Bega Valley’s most-respected performers playing on the green along with a jumping castle, face painting, outdoor bar and catering.
Donations for the Drought Relief Appeal and Rural Fire Service will be taken on the day.
The musical line-up includes Mike Martin, who is the 2015 Australian Busking Champion, to open proceedings at 11.30am.
Martin’s eclectic approach and stylish setlist is sure to wow the crowd.
Following Martin is Garry Carson Jones, a musician of great renown in the Valley.
He has been called one of the finest country exponents and covers everything from Slim Dusty to Keith Urban.
Next is The New Buildings Gringos, a band of five local lads driven by the guitars of brothers Rhys Morgan and Dean McKeown.
Expect some heavy rock courtesy of the backbeats by Marty Lyons and grooves of Cam Johnstone, rounded out with Mick Broderick on vocals.
The word supergroup comes to mind with the next act fronted by Frut Heffernan with Sam Martin, Andy O’Donnell and Gary Carson Jones all combining to bring the classic hits out.
Not surprisingly this line-up has some special guests yet to be announced.
Ken Oath and the Mighty Profaners follow on and consistently cover the rocking blues genre.

Lead by Steve Clarke the band is made up of Steve Gordon, Bill Brown, Dave Sparks and Russell Cook and they punch out anything from Tim Buckley to toe-tapping originals.
To close the afternoon out the incredibly talented Figmentz will take the stage.
Covering ska, funk, rock, reggae and soul, The Figmentz will guarantee to have you barefoot and dancing on the green.
It is made up of Andy O’Donnell on guitars and vocals, Ken Vatcher on drums, Dave Crowden on bass, guitar and vocals, as well as John Drews on keys.
“Candelo is a hometown gig for me, I always love supporting the little cultural hot-pot of a town,” O’Donnell said.
Arvy on the Green will be on Saturday, September 8 at the Candelo Kameruka Bowling Club in Candelo from 11.30am to 6.30pm.
It will be a fun-filled, child-friendly afternoon of music, food and fun. Admission is free.
