A group of 18 vulnerable children from Uganda are on their six-month tour in Australia performing their concert called Signs and Wonders. It is a family show suitable for all young and old.
The concert is said to inspire, challenge and uplift the crowd through songs that share the stories of the children and the hope they have because of God’s love.
All performances are free and open to the public. Lumen Christi Catholic College Hall will host the choir on Friday night from 7pm to 8.15pm. Adults and children of the choir will then be billeted to nine local families for the night.
“It is a great opportunity to have a special time with these inspiring kids.” coordinator Katrina Barnes said.
The Watoto Children’s choir has toured since 1994, travelling the world to share the plight of Africa’s orphaned children.
The Saturday concert will be held at the Sapphire Coast Anglican College Theatre from 5.30pm.
