Year 7 to 12 students have been busy working on their music repertoire throughout the year and are getting ready to put on a special show for the community this Saturday, July 28.
Students will participate in a music camp this Friday and Saturday where they will experience a range of workshops, games and movie making.
During the camp students will create short films to accompany songs that will be performed live at the weekend.
“Students have been working on their repertoire for the year and the camp is a culmination of what they have done so far,” music teacher Joe Fragnito said.
The theme is from stage to screen, it will be a cinema type feel with popcorn and choc tops on arrival.
Expect songs from movies performed live by the vocal group, percussion ensemble and school band.
Parents, carers and the wider community are warmly invited to attend.
The concert will take place on Saturday, July 28 at 4:30pm in the Lumen Christi Catholic College drama room.
