Chamber committee member Lyn McColl said the chamber fully supports the jazz festival.
“We encourage all local businesses to get behind the festival, dress their windows and do it soon so that everyone can see them and they can be judged,” Ms McColl said.
The News Weekly is running the best window competition for the jazz festival long weekend Friday, June 8 to Monday, June 11.
Businesses are being encouraged to dress up their windows for the chance of winning $400 worth of print advertising.
The windows will be judged by the winner of the Christmas window display competition also run by the News Weekly, Shane Grace, owner of Booktique.
