Power couple Jackson Fisher and Corine Masliah said they were thrilled when the band was announced in the lineup.
“There were over 100 bands who wanted to play at the festival and there were only 30 chosen. We felt pretty chuffed,” Mr Fisher said.
“It means a lot to us as well, after the recent fires in Tathra, when this came up we really wanted to do it for the cause,” Ms Masliah said.
To perform at Band Together is a heartfelt opportunity for the musicians who only recently relocated from Tathra to Wolumla.

Red Heart Blue will jump up on stage three at 4.15pm, with Ms Masliah on vocals and percussion, Mr Fisher on keyboard and 12-string guitar and Chris Ralfs on bass guitar.
The band has prepared three songs from Mr Fisher’s self-titled debut album and one cover song to play in a “stripped back acoustic set”.
Brunswick Street is a power ballad the band has dedicated to express the feeling of separation victims of the fire were going through.
“We related the song to when the fire was coming through and people just had to go and get out,” Mr Fisher said.
“We chose to do Brunswick because it shows that anxiety, that feeling of being apart but then finding home – which can be in each others arms.”
Red Heart Blue is excited to add a surprise cover song to the set, which will send emotions flying.
“The song will relate to separation and then being brought back together, it will be very powerful,” Mr Fisher said.
Ms Masliah and Mr Fisher said the Eden community has been very supportive of the band.
“For me the last seven years has been bouncing back and forth,...[now] people will be sitting in the audience at the markets singing along to my songs, which says heaps,” Mr Fisher said.
The experimental tunes of Red Heart Blue will also travel to the Hats Off to Country Festival in Tamworth this July as well as the Merimbula Jazz Festival and the Festival of the Voice in Moruya later this year.
