An early Anzac Day service took place at RSL Lifecare in Bimbimbie park and Hugh Cunningham Gardens on Tuesday, April 24.

The services gave volunteers and residents the opportunity to commemorate and take part prior to official Anzac Day services.
Recreational officer Sharon Hampton said it was a “wonderful service, we had a resident recite a poem, Liz Seckhold read a poem as well as young Jackson Lane who is in year five – he gave an incredible speech.”
An afternoon service took place at Hugh Cunningham Gardens where facility manager Jan Hume introduced, the guest speakers which included FSC Legacy chairman Peter Johnston, Mayor Kristy McBain, Tony Toussaint of Merimbula RSL sub-branch and Reverend Anthony Frost.
