The Pambula-Merimbula branch of the Country Women’s Association of NSW invites all members and friends for their monthly meeting at the CWA Hall this Friday April, 20 at 9.30am. Meet at the entrance to Panboola at 10am for the Associated Country Women of the World, Women Walk the World on Tuesday, April 24.

Historical Society
Members of the Merimbula-Imlay Historical Society share diverse cultural backgrounds and they tell their stories in a photographic display at the Old School Museum.
Everyone is invited to attend the exhibition My Culture, My Story which will be launched at 2pm on Sunday, April 22.
Please note there will be no general meeting of the Society at the RSL this month.
Candelo Craft
Members of the Candelo Craft Group celebrated 20 years of friendship. Four inaugaral members were present to enjoy a tasty treats with many other members, followed by the cutting of the 20th birthday cake. Members also celebrated by donating a cheque to support the Tathra Fire Appeal.
Meals on Wheels
Seniors Week was celebrated at the Meals on Wheels Centre in Bega last Friday. The Rural Fire Brigade gave an interesting talk on the importance of smoke detectors needed in all homes, the 69 Seniors who attended received a wooden spoon with the slogan "while cooking keep looking" referring to stove safety.
VIEW Club
Merimbula Evening VIEW Club members celebrated their 38th year of supporting the Smith Family Learning for Life Program at their April meeting. Janet Maughan of Sapphire Coast Connections, was guest speaker explaining the concept of the Rural Womens Gathering to be in Merimbula in October.
Hospital Auxilary
The next meeting is on today at 10am in the building below the community health centre. A reminder about the trivia night and auction held at Pambula-Merimbula Golf Club on Thursday, May 3. Tickets at the Golf Club. New members are welcome. Enquiries call 0456196891.
