Tathra bushfire
I cannot even imagine what this community is going through, our hearts break for them. Such a beautiful part of the word. So inspirational seeing the amazing support and help offered. Thinking of those involved now but also for the coming days, weeks and months where these families and communities will need further support.

Yes, time to help our neighbours in the region, but climate change is not politics, fires like this are the new "normal" and unless we do something, this sort of thing will strike us again. Maybe Tura Beach or Bermagui or Merimbula next time.
David Nicholls
Greenies want to lock the bush up, they won’t allow clearing or enough fuel reductions, this is why we are having such horrific fires.

Volunteers on firefront
Congratulations guys you have done a fabulous job. Crazy that we have to rely on fabulous volunteers to save lives and property when politicians, actors, footballers and musicians get paid millions. Such an injustice in our society.
Alison Hart
A million thanks to you all, your automatic response was an integral part of our town’s survival.
Sarah Kleber
Very brave everyone in horrendous conditions. Our thanks to you all for looking after our community.
Shirley Logan
Nice work people. It's good to know you guys and girls have our back in times of trouble.
Andre Nachtergaele
Thank you all, for your hard, dedicated and courageous work.

It does sound very short sighted - the Liberals always harp on about cutting red tape, this is a broken promise.
