Group 16 will see its first competitive hitout of the year in Narooma this weekend, as the ever popular All-Stars match will be played at Bill Smyth Oval on Saturday, March 10.

The event has quickly become one of the most beloved dates on the Far South Coast rugby league calendar, a showcase of some of the finest talent the region has to offer.
Under 18s
The day will start at 10.45am with the kickoff of the inaugural under 18s nines tournament.
The six participating teams will be split into two pools, with three qualifying matches in each pool.
Pool A will see the hosting Narooma Devils take on the Bega Roosters and the Cooma Stallions. Pool B consists of the Batemans Bay Tigers, the Merimbula-Pambula Bulldogs, and the Eden Tigers.
Each side will play two pool games, with the top two sides from each pool qualifying for the semi finals.
Can’t Miss...
The excitement. Nines is a fast-paced, high-scoring version of rugby league that is extremely entertaining to watch.
You would be disappointed to miss the 11.10am clash between the Batemans Bay Tigers and Merimbula-Pambula Bulldogs. These two sides battled in last year’s Grand Final, with the Bulldogs coming out 22-18 winners.
Women
The Group 16 Ladies Indigenous All Stars will take on the Group 16 Ladies All Stars in a full-contact match at 2.40pm.
Last year’s match went the way of the Indigenous All Stars by a score of 36-0, with Narooma’s Lily-Rose Bennett playing a starring role.
This year’s match is expected to be a tighter affair, with both sides excited for the opportunity.
Can’t Miss...
The Physicality. If you can only watch one match this weekend, make it this one.
The men will go hard at each other, but the women will go even harder.
Men
The main event will kick off at 4.30pm, with the Indigenous All Stars v U23 All Stars match.
The All Stars have traditionally dominated this match up, winning the past four matches by an average of 15 points, including a 30-6 victory last year at Mackay Park.
Can’t Miss...
The main event. While I think the All Stars should win this one fairly comfortably, the passion from the indigenous side alone will make this worth watching.
