On Saturday, March 3, Jessica Barker exchanged wedding vows with long-time partner Gavin Spackman at a special ceremony held at the Merimbula home of her parents, Brad Barker and Wanda Akkerman.
Jessica, who works as a solicitor in Queanbeyan, met Gavin when both were students at Queanbeyan Public School.
The celebration enjoyed beautiful weather, and fine food (including paella) catered by Cranky’s Cafe, Merimbula.
Jessica is the daughter of Merimbula residents Brad Barker and Wanda Akkerman. Brad is well known as a local Rotarian and Wanda a talented artist.
Gavin, the son of Graham and Bronwyn Spackman, is studying for his PhD in political science at Canberra University.
