Josie is only one year old, very affectionate and playful. She can take a little while to warm to you but is so gentle-natured. Good with children and loves to play, Josie would make a great family cat.
If you would like to offer her a secure, loving home, or view any of the other cats and kittens available for adoption, call 0419 267 799. All are de-sexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated. They can also be viewed on Sapphire Coast RSPCA Facebook page, or the RSPCA Adopt-A-Pet website.
Do you need financial help to have your pet de-sexed? Collect a subsidy application form from all Bega Valley Shire vets before your animal reaches five months of age. Animal Welfare League NSW Far South Coast branch volunteers raise the funds to support this de-sexing subsidy in the Bega Valley Shire and do not receive any government funding.
Helpful Hints: In a thunderstorm, in addition to keeping your own anxiety in check, it could be helpful to gently lead your pet to the bathroom and if possible into the bathtub as the porcelain may actually help block static electricity. Try not to give too much positive reinforcement as this may be perceived that you’re telling your pet that freaking out is something you’d like to see them do again.
