Merimbula Day VIEW Club is encouraging women on the Sapphire Coast to welcome in the New Year by becoming a member and, in doing so, meet new friends and have the opportunity to give back to the community.

The club is part of a network of 320 clubs throughout Australia, is one of the country’s leading women’s volunteer organisations and supports the education of disadvantaged children through The Smith Family. VIEW stands for the Voice, Interests and Education of Women and at its meetings held on the second Friday of each month members gather for lunch, friendship and on many occasions, to hear interesting guest speakers.

The first lunch will be held on Friday, February 9 at 11.30 am for a 12 noon lunch at Merimbula RSL Club. Bookings can be made by phoning Iris Ballard on 0448840752 by Wednesday, February 7. Members are reminded that annual fees of $20 are now due. The first brunch for this year will be on February 15 and will be held at 11am at The Comfort Inn, Merimbula Drive, Merimbula. Cost is $10, ring Helen Cook on 64953424.
