At Nethercote’s summer market the community stall, supplied by local kitchen gardens, will be laden with potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, zucchinis, apples, blueberries and plums. Individual stalls will sell creamy avocados, eggs, beef, wine, pork pies, oysters and bread, all produced on Nethercote’s doorstep, and from not too far up the road, there will be Tilba cheeses.
Local kitchens will be selling jams, pickles, pastries and shortbreads as well as dainty cakes and Karma Farmer will return with top quality food seedlings and micro herbs.
The Kombuchka & Keffir stall will market their fermented delicacies and the mid-morning cooking demonstration will be of a fermented tomato salsa by Emily Stokes.
Have breakfast, a cafetiere of tea or coffee plus a slice of cake and listen to musicians Ray Gardaya and Richard Braithwaite.
Wyndham market held in and surrounding the historic Wyndham Hall will feature the very popular Wyndham stone fruits, together with all your favourite stalls offering quality local and organic produce, Wyndhams own coffee, lavender and eucalyptus products, amazing organic skin products, soaps, lovingly made knitwear, cards and special soft toys, astrology reading, handmade jewellry, books, artwork, garden beds, antiques and collectables and rustic bits and pieces.
The market will be followed by the Jingera Rock Music event from 1-5pm. Bring your instrument along.
