Over 700 people attended the Pambula Merimbula Golf Club.
Bands such as The Figments and Mental As Anything rocked on throughout the day and evening.
Bega Valley SPAN (Suicide Prevention Action Network) Deputy Chairperson Glenn Cotter was MC and coordinator of the event.
Mr Cotter said Bega Valley Span were appreciative of the crowds response and that donations will be distributed across ongoing programs and resources for mental health education around the region. “It was a wonderful opportunity for Bega SPAN to be able promote it's role in helping those in the Bega Valley in times of crisis,” Mr Cotter said.
“We were extremely pleased to have been able to collect $1000 in cash donations through the bucket runs,
“Our heartfelt thanks go out to every one of the 700 odd people who attended the event,” Mr Cotter said.
