The football club is hosting a registration day next month to go ahead on February 24, but all interested players are reminded you can also register onlnine at www.myfootballclub.com.au.
The club will begin pre-season training for the senior sides in February, while the juniors will take to the field in March.
The club is aiming to field teams right throughout the Far South Coast Football Association draw from the under 7s right up to the first grade men’s draw.
The local football competition has shown immense growth in junior divisions and a new government initiative could provide even more incentive for budding young players to get involved.
The NSW government is launching the Active Kids program which is aimed at getting young people more active and parents are able to register for a $100 voucher through Services NSW which can be deducted from the registration fees.
Club officials said the program was open to all school-aged kids between 4.5 and 18 that are enrolled in school.
The Tigers are also seeking applications for coaches in the 2018 season.
Anyone interested is urged to email club president Blake Rosseland at snakey_271@yahoo.com.au. Closing date for coaching nominations is January 31. For more info, join the Wolumla Football Club Facebook group.
