The gates will open on the annual Pambula Show on Saturday, January 13 from 8.30am and organisers promise there will be a great line up of entertainment at this family friendly, traditional country show.

For dog lovers the dog high jump from 2-4pm must not be missed along with the Pooches Parade during the morning.
There will be plenty of muscle action on show with the popular wood chop events all morning and sheep shearing at 1.30pm.
If you’ve caught the bug for pig racing, join in the fun and see if you can pick a winner.
Specially for the children, sing-a-long, dance-a-long, laugh-a-long with Pirate Pete a master of balloon modelling and an all-time favourite with the kids. The Fizzics Science Show returns with some hands-on demonstrations of the wonders of science and there are also egg and spoon races.
Try your hand at shucking some oysters or learn from our local experts as they demonstrate their skills around midday.

If vintage cars and engines are of interest then the Pambula Show has a lot to offer with a vintage car display and a fascinating display of working vintage engines.
When it all gets too much and it’s time for refreshment you can head to the Pavilion Tea Room and food stalls where you can refuel with sandwiches, tea/coffee, Devonshire teas or cakes/slices.
While you are there check out the all day art show and the exhibition hall displaying the region’s fruit, vegetables, flowers, arts and crafts.

Committee member Robyn Bain said the committee had worked hard to keep the show entertaining while minimizing costs for families thanks to sponsorship from the communities of Pambula, Eden and Merimbula. Tickets are $25 for a family.
The show is at the Pambula Sporting Complex, Pambula Beach Road,and will be officially opened by the Gordon Family, who have lived in the area for generations and participated in the show throughout their lives.
