The band was early into its set when Mr Moriarty paused to put down his guitar because he felt unwell.
Shortly after sitting down, Mr Moriarty showed signs that he was entering cardiac arrest.
All hands were on deck as members of the crowd rushed to assist Mr Moriarty.
Dr Giles Ellingworth stepped out of the crowd to assist, while off duty lifesavers from the Tathra Surf Life Saving Club were also quick to help, able to source the club’s oxy-resuscitation kit and defibrillator.
He was revived at the scene and is currently recovering in Canberra Hospital.
Well done to everyone who was involved and best wishes to Mr Moriarty for a full recovery.
