Last week, the rainfall created the perfect puddle of opportunity for vandals to slide around the muddy field in their cars.
As the ground has dried, ruts and ripped up grass has been exposed.
Russel Fitzpatrick who is involved with the show society is annoyed by the damaging actions, which he thinks were caused by teenagers.
If kids are really that bored, why don't they bring their whipper snippers and lawnmowers down instead.

“Although we were always going to level it out and reseed it, it hasn't done any favours towards the process,” he said.
“If kids are that bored, why don’t they bring their whipper snipper and lawnmower down to help improve the facility instead.”
Dog walkers, horse riders and students of Lumen Christi Catholic College are all among those who commonly use the grounds that are all free to access it 24/7.
Mr Fitzpatrick is sympathetic to the public who make daily use of the area.
He said that it would be upsetting to have to restrict access to the area.
“We don’t want to lock it up, but if that means keeping activities like this off it, then we will have to,” he said.
