The day will consist of raffle prizes, a sausage sizzle and barefoot bowls at the cost of $15 per person.
“Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come along. We would love the support, It has been a slow evolution to get these stupid haircuts.” Derek Richards said.
The group had discovered the idea last New Years Eve, as they were sipping beers in the backyard.
Since then they have put in the hard yards creating their business at the front and party out the back.
They have been the butt of many jokes with the single men, finding it tough to stay in the game.
The hairy headed bunch are aiming to raise $3000 by New Years Eve. All donations that the mullets have raised will go to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
As the new year arrives, the long, yet fun process of seasoning their mullets will come to an end.
Hairdressers will gladly take on the delight and try their hand at filleting the rare species on the day.
The event will be held at 10am on December 31.
