The screening was followed by a Q & A session where members of the audience spoke to the film makers and their teacher, Peter Staubli.
A near capacity audience viewed films ranging in genre and style from the talented group of secondary students. Mr Staubli praised the students for their creative ideas and outstanding technical skills.
“Most of the students began studying photography in Year 9 and have followed the course through the years because of their strong interest in film and the media,” he said.
Lumen Christi Catholic College thanked Jesse Tankard at The Picture Show Man, for generously opening the cinema for the special screening.
All of the students thoroughly enjoyed seeing their productions on the big cinema screen and vowed to continue their passion for making short films.
