About 150 guest attended the event at Oaklands Events Centre as the flamboyant Peter FitzSimons, complete with his iconic red bandana, proved to a great hit, regaling his audience with a constant flow of amusing stories from his life as a Wallaby and a writer.
Dinner guest moved to the dance floor as money continued to flow for the charity auctions, which again proved successful.
The event helped raise much-needed funds that will go towards the amount distributed in the form of grants to many community organisations in the Bega Valley Shire.
The Mumbulla Foundation thanked sponsors Bega Cheese, Tarra Motors and Southern Farm Supplies for their generous support as well as the many businesses and individuals who donated prizes for the auctions.
