Lumen Christi’s Class of 2017 celebrated their final week of school life with a number of memorable special events, including dress-ups days, providing lunch for the Lumen staff, a farewell Mass, breakfast and a farewell Assembly involving the whole school community.

Part of the fun involved a performance by the school’s male choir and a series of awards given out by graduating students William Hassan and Chloe Jennings.
The students were in stitches as Nic West was awarded best attendance and Brooke Bartlett and Joe Carton were awarded the cutest couple for their fleeting romance back in Year 7.
Will said he was knew it was a great achievement but that he wasn’t really sure how he felt.
“Well it felt like a great achievement and as if it hasn't really happened, but it already has and now I don't know how to feel, it hasn't sunk in yet.”
Fellow student Liam Byrne said it was exhilarating and he felt a great sigh of relief to know he had finished classes.
“I’d like to thank my friends, family and the boys,” he said.
