If the change to collecting the levy from property insurance to rates was explained well, it shouldn't be a cause for concern. I'm for the change, and do think it's much fairer. I have more faith in our local council than I do in insurers.

I paid with for my private house with Youi insurance $87. Now I have to pay for my house $138. How is that cheaper?

Janet Gill’s 100th birthday
Happiest of birthdays. I will always remember your fantastic sense of humour and a gift to tell a great story.

Janet is a beautiful lady who tirelessly worked from a young age as the inaugural secretary for Pambula District Hospital Auxiliary and is still a member today being our patron. I am sure Janet would hold the most years of membership for any local not for profit organisation.

Happy birthday Mrs Gill. Thanks for the lift while I was hitchhiking many years ago.

Pet of the week Kodi
I think whoever gives this lovely boy a 'forever home' will have a 'forever friend'.

Hooray! Looks like there's some love out there for Kodi. I do hope so.

We clipped this dog about a year ago and he was in an awful condition much the same as the other groomers were talking about. We did say that he needed constant grooming and that we never wanted to see him in that state again. Kodiak is a very loving dog and just needs to be around someone. It would be great to see him go to a loving home and be looked after the way he should be
