Fancy a laugh? Then head to Club Sapphire Merimbula and see Comics on the Run’s great new summer show. What better way to start the New Year off continuing the festive hilarity than a good belly laugh.
When too much Christmas cheer just isn’t enough? Grab your friends and keep the laughter going with a big night out with this year’s Comics on the Run Show in the club’s auditorium on Saturday, January 14.
Spearheading the night is the South Coast’s favourite wee Scotsman, Barry McLeod who will MC the night - weaving in and out with hilarious stories everyone can relate to.
With the way he pulls the audience in and takes them along for the ride – he must make it up on the spot!
“I love doing shows down here in the summer holidays”, says McLeod, “everyone is relaxed, chilled out, and up for a laugh.”
Headlining the tour this year is funny man Darren Sanders, from Rove Live and his own talk show currently on Go, Darren Sanders live. As a regular on the Cruise ships of the Pacific Ocean he brings and shares these stories with us, alongside his hilarious observational comedy on life, family and relationships. There’s never a dull moment with Darren on stage.
This is truly a classic stand-up comedy show, the likes you’d see on the ships or in the Sydney and Melbourne clubs. The third partner in crime Steve Philp from Last comic standing and The Footy Show with his cheeky personal references and one-liners guaranteed to have you laughing and applauding in unison.
There is something in this show for everyone! Three great comedians with very different comedy styles: story telling; audience interaction; observational twists; snappy one liners.
This will be the 13th consecutive summer tour here on the Far South Coast and it’s always a favourite.
Comics on the Run is about bringing professional comedy to regional New South Wales playing as far west as Broken Hill and south to Eden. So if you are fancying a good night out and a great laugh contact Club Sapphire on 6495 1306 to guarantee a great seat or turn up on the night at 8pm.
