Coffee with a cop in Bega

Coffee with a Cop is heading to Woods Bakery in the Sapphire Marketplace Bega from 2-2.30pm, Thursday, December 22.

There’s no agenda or speeches, just a chance to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know officers from the Far South Coast Local Area Command in your neighbourhood.

Coffee with a Cop is one of the most successful community oriented policing programs across the US, where it first launched in 2011 when police departments were looking for ways to interact more successfully with the citizens they served each day. It has since expanded to Canada, Europe, Australia and Africa
