Pambula Tennis capped off the year the grand finals played last week with Jason Savage’s team securing the spoils.
Savage leads the troops of Catriona Cole, Tylah Lambden and Jodi Whitby.
Officials congratulated Savage and the team on their win, after pipping Kel’s team by just a handful of games.
“Kel’s team weren’t out of it until the final two matches,” a spokeswoman said.
Kel Arhur led Nic Gordon, Diana Hughes and Wayne “Pato” Paton giving their all the final round.
However, Savage’s team proved just too strong on the night.
Officials thanked everyone involved in the tennis club and all the players for building an enjoyable competition.
“We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and new Year and see you all back for the Autumn comp,” the spokeswoman said.
Play will return early in February with the final dates yet to be confirmed. All new players are welcome with gradings to be held prior to competition.
