Lars Nystrom, of Merimbula who went missing last week has been found safe and well at Bairnsdale police have reported.
The 73-year-old was last seen on the morning of Tuesday, December 6 leaving his home in Reid Street and was driving his black 2011 model Hyundai I20 sedan.
Mr Nystrom was travelling to Victoria to visit family, a trip that he frequently took but there were serious concerns for his welfare after he didn’t arrive.
Fortunately Mr Nystrom was discovered to have taken a break in his journey and stopped at Bemm River. Police made contact with him at 12 noon on Friday, December 9, safe and well, and contacted his family so that he could be reunited with them.
