Once again the Social Justice Advocates of the Sapphire Coast are hard at work preparing for their biggest fundraiser of the year.
The Samaritan Op Shop at Pambula will open on Friday, December 17 at the Masonic Hall, Toalla Street and once again the focus will be on raising funds for the homeless and disadvantaged of the Bega Valley.
The op shop will have a wide variety of goods for sale from specialist antique items to large pieces of furniture.
Social Justice Advocate, Mick Brosnan said an Eden family that was leaving the area donated a variety of large furniture items including an antique 125 year old dresser and wardrobe.
“I honestly think the gear we are getting is getting better every single year,” he said.
Mr Brosnan will also be picking up a beautiful custom made doll house which was won by Sue and Bill Schroder in a raffle for the Bega woodcrafters.
The Op Shop will be open from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Fridays and til noon on Saturdays from December 17 to 24 and January 2 to 28.
