Kibosh on Bunnings
I'll just spend my money in Canberra at Bunnings and give the ACT people all my spendings. At least the Canberra peeps will be employed whilst the coast continues to suffer.

What about we stop and think about the little local guys who will have to close shop once the big guys move in? It’s all these smaller businesses who support our local sporting clubs and who donate thousands each year, I'm pretty sure you won't get Bunnings doing the same for the area.

It stinks! Putting Bunnings in Tura would encourage other residents of the shire to the Tura/Merimbula area which I think will boost other businesses! I know when I go to Bega to shop at BigW I always make a day trip of it and end up spending money in other businesses in Bega. Share the shire!

Great idea, they could work in partnership with Bega Valley community transport. A pilot project would highlight the need and address the gaps.
